Nanjing Market Exploration Trip

As Singapore's business chamber for the community in Shanghai, SingCham Shanghai acts in the interest of the business community, promoting connectivity and business networking in China. SingCham's established business and government sector network spans across China, hence for a start, we would like to lead a delegation to Nanjing to explore potential business and investment opportunities.

EXPENSE DESCRIPTION

A fee of RMB 500 will be charged by SingCham Shanghai for each member's participation, and RMB 1000 for each non-member. SingCham Shanghai will provide local transportation and official dinner/lunch. All the other expenses including train tickets and hotel accommodation cost shall be borne by participants. 

ABOUT NANJING

Nanjing, the capital of China's eastern Jiangsu province is strategically located at the geographic center of the Yangtze River Delta. Nanjing is also the second largest city in the Eastern China Region, with just one hour to Shanghai, four hours to Beijing.

ABOUT SINO-SINGAPORE NANJING ECO HI-TECH ISLAND

Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-tech Island (SNEI) is a township development project jointly supported by Jiangsu & Nanjing Government as well as Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry. SNEI is also a flagship project of Singapore - Jiangsu Cooperation Council and Singapore-Nanjing Key Project Cooperation Committee. Leveraging on the experience & wisdom of Singapore and China in green and sustainability, our vision is to build SNEI into an "Eco Hi-tech City, Low Carbon Smart Island". With a total land area of 15 km2, the island is located in the downtown area of Jianye district, Nanjing City, along the Yangtze River.

With the vision of becoming a world-renowned demonstration area for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and water science technologies and applications, SNEI is building an industry cluster focusing on AI-themed information communication technology and ecological & environmental protection.
