Madam Lijuan He is a permanent resident of Singapore where she resided and worked as a PRC counsel for several reputable law firms and as a foreign lawyer advising on PRC law for almost 10 years. Prior to her migration to Singapore, Lijuan worked for the Legal Department of Heilongjiang Press and Publication Bureau/Copyright Bureau and the Intermediate People's Court of Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. In 2007, she left the Singapore Law firm which she served in both their Singapore and China office, and founded Shanghai Veritas Law Corporation.
Lijuan focuses on foreign-related legal matters, her principal practice includes litigation and arbitration, domestic investment (establishment of companies and mergers and acquisitions) by foreign invested enterprises, overseas investment, mergers and acquisitions and IPO financing by domestic enterprises, compliance operation of enterprises and intellectual property protection of technology enterprises.
During Lijuan’s professional career, she has assisted several domestic companies in their restructuring and listings in Hong Kong and Singapore; listings on the New Third Board in Beijing; provided “one stop” comprehensive legal services for enterprises from America, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia to set up companies and/or to acquire equity interests or assets in China; represented foreign clients in litigation and arbitration matters in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin, etc. Lijuan also represents large domestic clients in arbitration matters in Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
Under the Lijuan’s coordination, Shanghai Veritas Law Corporation has had established close association and cooperation with a number of reputable and sizable law firms and accounting firms in the US, Germany, France and Singapore and built up an extensive international service network.
Thomas is a Taiwan citizen who received his cross discipline higher education in legal studies, business administration, marketing studies and development economics & law. He commenced his professional career by practicing as a solicitor in the area of banking and finance with top international law firms in the City of London. In the 90's, Thomas left the legal profession and moved to the business sector and has since then been holding various senior management positions for Fortune 500 companies and listed companies in Asia. Thomas has since 2013 been engaging in capital market related work and had served as CEO of an asset management company in Beijing, China, Regional CEO of a private equity firm in China based in Beijing & Wuhan. Currently, he is partner of a global accountancy firm responsible for investment banking & transaction related works, and a senior consultant of Shanghai Veritas Law Corporation. During his legal and business management career, he has completed numerous financing, cross border M & A transactions, pre-IPO & IPO advisory works, compliance, corporate re-structuring, corporate planning assignment and marketing strategy assignment.
Thomas is well familiar with government economic & trade policy as he had been a member of the advisory panel of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan Government on matters relating to WTO, OECD and other international governmental organizations, assisting the Ministry in drafting position paper, third party submission, as well as attending negotiation on behalf of the Taiwan Government at various committee meetings of these international organizations and FTA negotiations. Other government related advisory works include: advisor of the Investment Bureau, Barbados Government; project advisor of the Spain Carbon Fund; senior advisor of Ulaan Bataar City Development Corporation of Mongolia. In 2018, Thomas was appointed by the Human Resources & Social Security Bureau of the Beijing Municipality Government as tutor for entrepreneurship.
Thomas is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England & Wales; Hong Kong SAR; barrister and solicitor in Australia, and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Philip K. Yu practices in the area of intellectual property law, and has diverse on-the-ground experience in innovation management, IP enforcement, brand protection and IP risk mitigation in China, Asia Pacific and the U.S. Mr. Yu spent more than a decade as lead IP counsel, Asia Pacific for DuPont China. In this position, he was responsible for providing IP services to business teams in China and Asia Pacific while collaborating with U.S. IP colleagues on matters involving IP portfolio and organization management, IP strategy, IP enforcement, transactional matters and risk management.
Mr. Yu is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School and the University of California, Irvine. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Mr. Steven Cheng joined the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in 2007.
During his tenure at MIDA, he had served at various capacities starting from promotion division (Europe & Asia Oceania) and 3 years stint (2013 – 2015) as deputy director at MIDA Dubai, UAE.
This was followed by promotion and marketing function attached to the Foreign Investment Promotion Division covering ASEAN region (2016), China (2017 – 2018) and USA (until August 2019).
