Singcham is glad to bring back the upgraded City Walker 2.0 series to the Singapore community and friends in Shanghai in 2021. This time round Singcham is partnering with Historic Shanghai on their highly acclaimed and sold-out walks among the Expat community. Historic Shanghai tours have been featured in the New York Times, Sydney Morning Herald, numerous inflight magazines, documentaries, and videos.
Old Shanghai wasn't just one city: its distinctive character came from a cosmopolitan brew of three distinct cities: the old Chinese walked city 上海县城, the former French Concession 法新租界, and the International Settlement 公共租界. This unique walk takes us to all three, crossing the old boundary lines: from the grand edifices of commerce on the Bund, to the secrets hidden in the alleys of the old Chinese city, and the unique architecture and raucous history of the original French Concession.
The group will also be treated to a tea and snack session after the walk in the old settings of Yuyuan.
Curious about old Shanghai? Join us on a walk through its incredible history, and find out more!
