Sissi Chao
Founder & CEO of Remake HubSissi, the founder of RePlasTerial, is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of St Andrews, and Duke University. She was awarded the Forbes U30 Entrepreneurial Elite, winner of the United Nations Sustainable Development Asia-Pacific Youth Innovation Award, and winner of the WEC Women's Youth Innovation of the Year Award.
Sissi has represented China in the U.S. Department of State’s Future Young Leaders program and Spain’s Sustainable Future Leaders program. She also participated in the United Nations Climate Summit as part of China’s outstanding sustainable development cases.
Sissi’s mission is to build a “waste-free, low-carbon” world. Over her five years in the sustainability industry, she has continuously innovated. She has served over 70 Fortune 500 companies, developed over 20 circular solutions, and been featured in interviews by more than 60 global media outlets,which has inspired and motivated more young people to focus on sustainable development. In the face of resource, environmental, and climate crises, RePlasTerial's forward-thinking philosophy is closely aligned with the founder’s pursuit of values.
