Harry has spent 21+ years in Trade and Customs area. He started his career working for the China Customs Authority and reached the position of deputy section chief of legal affair department. He then joined professional firms to provide customs advisory services for over 15 years. Harry has advised many clients on customs and trade related matters and has accumulated extensive experience and reputation in the industry.

Professional and Industry Experience
- Harry has 6 years of experiences in China Customs, working in the Customs Audit and Anti-Smuggling and Regulatory Department. Harry is familiar in various knowledge related to international trade, including international trade rules, World Trade Organization rules and cases.
- After leaving China Customs, Harry worked with another Big 4 firm and then joined a US law firm specialized in trade and customs area before joining KPMG.
- Harry has 6 years of experience in a U.S. law firm designated by the Ministry of Commerce of China as one of the international trade remedy professional service providers, directly communicating with the World Customs Organization and regulatory agencies overseas, such as the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Customs, European Customs, etc. In addition to various matters and difficult issues in conventional international trade, he also has rich experience in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and export control.
- With more than 9 years of experience working in the world's Big Four accounting firms, Harry joined KPMG China in 2021 as an international trade and supply chain expert, and then served as the national lead of supply chain and international trade of KPMG China. He has been committed to assisting foreign companies and domestic enterprises in China to deal with various disputes and difficult issues in international trade, such as country of origin, customs valuation, classification, free trade agreements and trade agreement negotiation and application, etc.
- In 2018, Harry represented China to directly communicate with the U.S. Department of Commerce and participated in hearings and debates on the additional tariffs imposed by the U.S. on goods originating from China, and endeavoured for applying tariff exemptions for Chinese companies. In addition, Harry was also involved in the negotiation process of the TPP agreement.

Nicole Sun started her professional career with KPMG China since 2010, and has been devoted to providing with advisory services to her clients faced with challenges from customs authorities in China and complicated customs issues in relation to customs valuation, tariff rates, processing trade, bonded operations, and supply chain optimisation.

Professional and Industry Experience
- Nicole has participated in a wide range of projects regarding customs duty optimization and utilisation of the applicable international trade models. She has assisted a number of MNCs as well as domestic companies in customs compliance diagnosis, review and recommending on existing import and export processes, as well as exploring any potential duty saving opportunities.
- She takes a leading role in conducting interviews with various clients from logistics, finance & accounting, in-house imports and exports, brokers and agents, covering every aspect of customs and trade, and is able to identify control deficiencies and customs risks.
- Nicole has been acting as liaison between local team and global team, and provides valuable insights into Chinese tax and customs rules and regulations during various large-scale projects.
- Over the recent years, she has been providing assistance to many enterprises in AEO certificate program, including application for an upgraded certificate and re-assessment to maintain the current credit rating, and has quite a lot successful experiences for AEO applications.

Ms. Chen was a domestic capital market lawyer with many years of experience in domestic and overseas investment and financing, A-share listing and annual legal services, including cross-border investment equity structure design, issuance of overseas investment and financing risk reports, issuance of legal documents for cross-border equity changes, and assisting clients in legal and commercial negotiations.

After returning OCBC China in 2021, she covered Northern China Region to grow the Central SOE portfolio.
